Grade 3 is the final year of the foundation phase and it cements the fundamental knowledge, skills, attitudes and values.

The children become more responsible towards their own learning.

Competence provides children with a deep confidence in their ability to engage in new situations and succeed.

Children who have internalised a sense of competence love to learn and work and they are excited about developing new skills.

The activities are fun-filled, varied and the children explore all their senses in a creative manner.

The program aims to develop a strong set of values and positive behaviour to maximise learning through varied themes important for life.

Have I got the time?

• The required learning time is approximately 50 hours spread out over the year.
• We recommend 15 minutes a day during the week or longer on the weekend if you have not had time.
• It is important to be flexible to create a stress-free relaxed learning environment.
• The program is not to be seen as extra homework but an experience to be shared in your child's holistic development.
